3. AV/ TECH STUFF

Mark Brings:

Mark prefers to use his own laptop for his presentations (please have the required cables to plug into a USB-C socket or HDMI). Currently he presents on a 14″ 2023 MacBook Pro and uses a wireless USB presentation “clicker.” Thank you.


Mark Needs:

  • A wireless, lavalier microphone

  • An AC power plug (or FR plug converter) to power his laptop

  • A projector (with a Mac compatible adaptor cable (e.g. VGA, DVI, or HDMI input.))

  • A speaker system with a mini plug for audio output from the laptop.

    • If possible a system that allows to play music from his iPhone 15 Pro

  • A confidence monitor

  • For the Sound System to have been tested for proper operation

  • A wireless ‘clicker’

  • (Please note that Mark does not need a podium)


Mark Would Love:

  • To do a sound check from the stage prior to the event (if possible)

  • Ideally a 10 to 15-minute break immediately after Mark’s speech in which he can interact with audience members, answer questions, sign copies of his book, take photos, etc.

  • A table beside the exit of the room so Mark can sell (or hand out depending on if you have pre-ordered copies in advance) and autograph his award-winning book “Glow in the Dark” (Hachette UK) for your audience.
